What do you do?
I'm an independent chartered surveyor with 20 affiliates across the UK.

How does your PA assist you in your everyday business?
She does it all. Takes the call, explains the product range, books the survey, sends the terms for signature, sometimes takes the payment, sometimes types and sends the report.

What are the benefits?
Simply, I'm freed up to take on more surveying work instead of being bogged down in the admin work. I also earn more money, because she costs less than I do!

What does it cost?
Well most bills per month are in the hundreds which was a bit scary at first, but my earnings are in the thousands. I don't have to make desk space in my house or deal with more admin of PAYE and such like. Compared to a secretary's salary, it's nothing.
