What do you do?
Design and deliver courses and 1:1 sessions that improve my client's productivity and impact at work.
Personality Profiling to help clients recruit the best suited candidates.
As a specialist in managing time effectively, I'm always looking for ways to make the most of my own time - my PA certainly helps me to do that.
How does your PA assist you in your
everyday business?
When I'm 'Out and About' delivering courses, 1:1 sessions and attending meetings, when I want 'quiet' time to think (essential for growing any business) I can put my phones through to the team, confident that a call will never be missed. When I'm on the phone already, I know I can take time to handle calls with care and build relationships, because if another call comes in, it will bounce through to the team and be handled professionally.
For very short periods of time such as when I run across to the post box, or accept a delivery - in those few minutes I could lose a call - and business.
To take a holiday or day off - I can relax knowing that a professional 'front' is still present for the business.
What are the benefits?
The benefits of using my PA service are considerable. I know myself that often I don't leave messages on answerphones - I want to talk to a real person who can help me with my questions, now.
Increasingly new clients find me through internet searches and if a phone is not answered personally, it's easy to simply call the next company on the webpage. Small businesses work hard to find interested prospects - it's foolish to lose them when a prospect is ready to raise their hand and say 'tell me more about what you do'.
To give you an example - yesterday just 2 calls were taken by the team. But one of those calls has landed me at least £1,000 of new business. Would that have happened if that new enquiry had simply been greeted by an answerphone message?
What does it cost?
The service usually costs around £45 a month. The 'Return On Investment' is many, many times that value in a typical month, and I regard Core Business as essential members of my team. (If I say anymore, Sue will be upping my charges!)
